End of an Era
I got a text from a friend offering me condolences for the passing of Robin Gibb, I hadnt known and seeing the writing literally made me go numb ! I got pins and needles spread from my head to my feet !
I could never explain how much not only Bee Gees but Robin Gibb’s own music has influenced my life.
For my age group it may seem out of place, but Bee Gees will always remain my favourite band, and Robin Gibb my favourite singer.
It all started when I was 4 and my grandparents introduced me to the amazingness that was the Brothers Gibb, and ever since I had been obsessed !
I was so upset when I had heard of Robin’s illness, and devastated when he first went into the coma, but when he woke up it seemed a miracle.
No one can deny that he fought, long, brave and hard to beat all the odds !
But now it is his time to rest !
My thoughts, prayers and condolences are with the Gibb family during this Devastating time.
Music has lost a legend, but may he live on in his music !
